Winter was quickly forgotten, bare skin joining the list of 2015 festival fashion essentials: playsuits, prints, head scarves, fringing, suede, leather, double denim, crochet, lace. And gumboots.
The mud was intense and the boho-fashion-love even more so.
Last year’s Splendour darling Annalise McLachlan didn’t disappoint and stole the fashion show on day 1 with her cool-as-fuck Seventies vibe. Hair was braided or worn loose with rainbow influences. Skin was dewy and glitter bombed. Metallic tattoos popped up everywhere amidst heavily stacked tribal jewellery.
