On the Internet #3

What I’ve been watching / reading / doing on the internet this week.

On the internet #3 | THE BEAUTIFUL LENS

These photos from Spell & The Gypsy Collective‘s 2015 Island Boho lookbook are just utter bohemian perfection. All praise to photographer Johnny Abegg and the entire Spell team. I’m in awe.

Beautiful Wild Mongolia. As seen through the eyes of photographer Hamid Sardar-Afkhami.

“When you try to dig deeper, you hit a wall of secrecy. For at least the past decade, the big manufacturing companies have kept a low profile, hiding behind the creed of commercial confidentiality…”

If you only read one longform article this week let it be this one. Inside the Food Industry: The Surprising Truth About What You Eat by Joanna Blythman on the Guardian UK site. Lord help us all.

We lost our beloved Labrador Boston in January… he was fifteen, and I am still heartbroken. But this joyful video made my heart smile. It looks like it went viral on youtube last year – but I totally missed it. Did you??

A few days ago I let The Beautiful Lens facebook page followers in on some fun news – that I had backed my very first Kickstarter project! I am now an official backer for Prynt: The world’s first instant camera case for iPhone and android! What a genius idea. Like really. So much so that the $50,000 Prynt’s developers were hoping to raise has reached $1,333,000 and counting. And it’s not too late for you to get involved if you’re interested – pledges are open for three more days.
