This is a super-simple, super-green smoothie recipe. Something you can easily throw together with just a few things on hand, for the ultimate healthy fast food fix. There are lots of superfood smoothie boosters that you can add (and I’d love you to tell me what you like to throw into your smoothies in the comments below!) but sometimes you just need to stick to the basics. And that’s when this smoothie is pretty much perfect. Mmmmmm.
A Mega Green Smoothie Recipe
- A few handfuls of Baby Spinach, washed
- 50g Fresh Mint
- 3 Kale leaves, washed
- 1 Banana
- 1 cup of frozen Berries
- 500 mL Coconut Water
- Start with the Greens and Coconut Water in your blender.
- Pulse a few times.
- Add the fruit next, and set your blender to Puree until smooth.
- Voila! Serve immediately.
Note: You can vary the amount of Coconut Water depending on your preferences for thick or thin smoothies and add ice if extra cold and extra thick is your thing. Mmmmmmmm…
